Noise in the workplace – a frequently overlooked danger!
Prolonged exposure to noise is not only annoying – it can lead to permanent hearing damage, reduced concentration, and a decline in employee well-being. We’re happy to see that more and more companies are recognizing these risks and actively investing in safer work environments.
Our company has experience across the entire field, from understanding the composition of noise meters and calibrations to hearing testing devices. This comprehensive approach allows us to support companies not only in measuring noise, but also in understanding its impact and finding effective solutions.
Despite the availability of advanced equipment for noise monitoring and hearing protection, we often find that it is either not used correctly or not used at all. That’s why awareness is key, and it starts with knowledge and understanding among professionals.
Yesterday, we had the opportunity to conduct a training session for the occupational health and safety department at Luka Koper. The participants deal with various challenges and questions regarding noise exposure on a daily basis, so we explored common real-life dilemmas, clarified the effects of noise on workers, and presented practical solutions for measurement, protection, and improving working conditions.
We’re proud to contribute our knowledge and experience to creating an even safer work environment in one of the region’s largest logistics systems.
