As a technical support team, we had the opportunity to participate in the execution of measurements for Lucija Klinc’s master’s thesis. Lucija is a student under the mentorship of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mateja Dovjak from the Department of Buildings and Structural Elements. The main focus was on investigating the sound insulation of a wooden structure, combining technical precision with research dedication.
Our measuring equipment, device 2255 combined with amplifier 2755, ensured reliable and straightforward measurements – crucial for in-depth analysis. Wooden structures, as an essential part of sustainable construction, require special attention to ensure acoustic comfort, which directly impacts the comfort and functionality of living spaces.
We were delighted to contribute to this research project and are already looking forward to reading the conclusions of the master’s thesis, which will undoubtedly make a significant contribution to understanding acoustics in wooden structures.
